June Currently!

It's June!! That means it's SUMMER and it's time for another currently! Here's what I am up to.....

I am loving the start to my Summer Vacation!! My husband and I started off with two days at a Marriage retreat and it was beautiful! We had such an wonderful relaxing time, and I didn’t want it to end.

Now we are sitting here watching a movie with the kids and I feel so blessed by the family God has given me!

I don’t feel like I want anything much right now, except some new flip flops!! The only pair I have right now are completely worn out so I’m looking for a new pair, but I’m pretty picky and cheap so we will see if I find some that I like and will actually pay for!! I need a tan too, that means time in the SUN!! I don’t want to lay out our anything, just don't want to look like a ghost!!

I need to get my house organized, it’s in the plans over the next couple weeks!!

When I go on vacation I have to take the camera, lots and lots of pictures and memories! Clips for putting my hair up easily, and comfy shoes to keep up with the rest of the family!!

Welcome to a new month!  Stay tuned for much more including updated binder covers and calendars (which I’ve gotten several emails about) SOON!

Don't forget to head over to Farley's blog and see what everyone else is up!

  1. I wonder if many teachers have house organization on their summer list! Cuz I do too! And I need a new pair of flip flops. Good luck with your tan and enjoy your movie.

  2. I found your blog through Farley's link up! I spent about two hours organizing three closets--and I feel so much better! I think home organizing is one of those things we all dread but are happy it's done when we're finished (kind of like working out for me!). Enjoy your summer!

  3. My husband and I were signed up to go to a Marriage Retreat Weekend also but it never happened. Something always came up. I think we moved it three different times and then finally just gave up. I have heard wonderful things about it. I wish we could have gone. I am also with you about getting a good pair of flip flops and getting a tan. AND I can't wait to see your new binder covers and calendars. I loved mine last year. I actually used the pattern that you have for your blog. Looked those colors.

  5. Have you ever had any yellowbox flip flops? They are the most comfortable flip flops! On sale, you can get them for about $20. No, that doesn't sound cheap, but they are so comfortable and will last longer than a cheaper pair. I do understand what you are saying about being cheap. I hate spending a lot of money on clothes or shoes, but I will spend another $20 on a pair of yellowbox flip flops when my pair are ready to retire! I hope you enjoy your summer!

  7. I really need to organize my house too, but haven't got the big urge to get on it yet! LOL! Hopefully it will happen soon. I did lay out in the sun a little bit the other day. Unfortunately, I got sunburned :-(, so make sure you wear a lot of sunscreen. It was only 72 degrees here so it felt really nice until I was done and realized I burned. Teaching Little Miracles
