A girl could get use to this!

Not only did I win Mel. D's huge giveaway that has my desktop covered in the cutest units ever, but I also won a $25 gift card to TPT from Abby Alley's blog, and a $25 dollar gift card to Amazon from Jana Wilson at Thinking out loud! I guess I should have bought a lottery ticket!!!  I'm going to use the Amazon card to get color ink and lamination pouches so I can print off all these great activities I have acquired! Planning for the rest of January and February should be pretty easy! Thanks again to all of you for hosting wonderful giveaways!

On top of all my great wins I have yet to work a full week since break! We had a snow day on Tuesday the 2nd when we were suppose to head back to the classroom, I only worked three days that week. Last week we had a snow day on Friday, I only worked four days. Today was a PD day- and not your typical PD day! Our school received a health and wellness grant to help support teachers. The theory is if teachers are happy and healthy they will be better teachers, if they feel cared about, they will care more about their students. So today's PD - free massages, healthy snacks, breakfast, lunch, a walking competition with prizes, and time to socialize!!! I was thinking WHAT!!! THIS IS PD!! and we even got continuing education credits for it!! I could get use to this! So I will only see my precious little cherubs for four days this week (unless we have another snow day - weather man says it's a possibility Thu. or Fri)! I don't know what I will do when I actually have to work five days a week! Hope you all enjoyed your Monday - I surely did!!
