Surprise Phone call = Snow Day!!!

Oh well at least I will be well prepared for tomorrow! I do love snow days but today it's kinda like postponing the inevitable we've gotta go back and I was all ready, feeling re-energized, and excited about the lessons I've prepared. On the other hand I got an extra day to finish up all the special education paperwork I'm finding it hard to keep up with this year! Since I already had everything done this was a good opportunity to do the not so fun stuff! I feel like I've been very productive since it's the first day of break I actually got out of bed before 9:00! Who doesn't love one more day in their jammies (I was back in mine in a hurry)! Another reason why I love my job :)

AND my first school email of the year.... yep you guessed it paperwork on yet another new student. Geesh! I just want to teach!!!! I love teaching in a learning support classroom, but this year it is out of control!

  8. Snow??? Where do you live? I'm in Illinois and we haven't had any snow yet! At least you're prepared for the next day though! I start back Thursday...maybe it'll snow a lot by then so I can stay in my pajamas?? Haha. Doubtful because the weather man says it'll be in the 50s by then! Crazy for January.

  9. I'm in South West Michigan, about 20 miles from the lake shore. This is the first snow we've had all season, and we got 15 inches over the last two days.
