Wrapping up winter! *UPDATED*

I'm wrapping up the last of my winter centers this week , we are starting our new Valentine activities next week! I can't wait I love all the things I've made and can't wait to share them here. If you haven't noticed (maybe if your reading this in Google readers you can't see it) I am all ready for February! I'm loving the new look!! Today we did a winter art project to hang in the hall, we have parent teacher conferences next week and although I don't have a room technically there is stall a large part of the hallway outside of the room I work in that looks awful bare so I decided we needed something up there before our parents came in! Here's what we did.....
We used craft tape to make snowflakes on light blue paper
then painted over the entire piece of paper with the white dot art paint
let it dry then peeled the tape to get a cute snowy background, I mounted them on darker blue paper
sprayed them with some spray glitter and thought they looked nice but i wanted to add something
more about the kids, so last night as I was blog stalking I came across this
I found the owner.....Check out her original post here http://the-sharpenedpencil.blogspot.com/2011/01/snow-kids.html
and thought it would work perfectly,
I love how they turned out, I hope to actually get them on the wall tomorrow!

Stay tuned for Valentine ideas coming soon :)
