April is here!

It's April 1st and that means it is time once again to link up with Farley for this month's currently! See what I'm up to......
I am super jealous of all my friends who are now relaxing in much warmer places during spring break! I want some warm weather already. I know it's just April 1st, and winter is just getting over but I am really ready for some sun and warmth already!!

I am so thankful for spring break! I am enjoying my time off so far and home to get much accomplished. First off I started a journey to get healthy, so at 6:00 this morning when the alarm went off I was up to meet my friend a the gym - no friends that is some dedication - if you know me you know I don't workout, and I especially don't work out early on spring break!! But I need to do this because I have just not been feeling well and I know it has a lot to do with how inactive I am and all the unhealthy food I eat. So the goal is to stay on track and not loose focus!! I also want to get some work done around the house, in my classroom, and of course on the computer creating new things!!

My advice is something I still have to remind myself to do a lot! Stay positive, look at the good side of things and know that the little things aren't really all that important. I've started asking myself will this matter tomorrow? Next week? Next year? it really helps me put things in perspective. It's such a waste to be upset over something that won't even be on your radar in the long term!

Thanks so much for following me, don't forget to heat over to Farley's blog and check out what others are up to!

  2. Wow Amy, kudos to you for getting up early and working out. I need to get back on track myself. I do so well in the summer and then struggle all school year to find time to exercise. Good luck and enjoy your spring break! =)
